I don’t know about you but as the temperature rises outside, so does my little one’s need for ice-cream. So as much as I would love to give her (and me) ice cream every day of the week, I am not sure either of our waistlines would appreciate it.
Here is my quick alternative, perfect for snack time or pudd.
Summer berry smoothie
Serves 2 generously
1/2 cup frozen raspberries
1/2 cup frozen blueberries
1 cup 1% milk
1 cup crushed ice
1. Chuck all into a jug and blend with a hand blender
2. Pour into a glass with a straw or a bowl with a spoon
