It just makes sense. For so many reasons. Do a weekly menu plan, write the corresponding shopping list and save time, money and food. So when your kiddos ask ‘Mumma, what’s for supper?’ at the end of a crazy day/week/month you already know what you are serving rather than having to play a quick game of ‘Ready, Steady, Cook’ with the random contents of your fridge.
I have written my tips for successful menu planning here, so have a read and give it a try.
Today is my menu planning day and I am making a vague effort to make a little room in the freezer this week. So, armed with my list of foods in the freezer and my menu planning notebook, I must get cracking.
Happy weekend, everyone xx
