Sunday Night Cheese on Toast

Sometimes the simplest things are the ones that hit the spot most effectively after a busy week.  Sunday nights in our house mean eggs, leftovers, soup or something on toast.  This week, it will be cheese on toast.

No recipe required!  But I like nothing more than a toasted slice of simple wholemeal bread, lightly buttered, a smidgen of Marmite topped with a few slices of strong cheddar, not too much, popped until the grill until it is bubbling.  Just like this…  Using slices of cheese like these, instead of covering the slice in grated cheese, make it super easy to cut into grab-able fingers for the kiddos.

Instead of Marmite, my husband likes Dijon, my chica likes pesto and my boyo has his naked!
