Fruity Power Breakfast Bowl

The sun is shining, the temperature is reaching the high teens, the snow is melting from the mountain tops, so I feel it’s time move on from porridge to fresh fruity bowls of goodness to start our day.

Use whatever fruits you have in your fruit bowl, freezer or cupboard, add a little yogurt and top with some grains, seeds, nuts, oats, or dried cereal.  Get everything ready for you and your kiddos to create their own little pick ‘n’ mix bowl of morning goodness.  They choose, they eat!

This was yesterday…

Defrosting frozen raspberries mixed with Greek yogurt and a splash of milk to loosen it, chopped bananas, chopped strawbs, topped with a sprinkling of sunflower seeds.  Yumbo…

And this is where we ended up this morning…  Halved grapes, chopped banana, frozen rasps, Greek yogurt and handful of honey almond granola.  Equally yum.

Tomorrow, we have some pear halves lurking in a can in the cupboard so they will definitely be making an appearance.

What better way to start the day but with a bowl smacking with fresh flavours, good energy and lots of colour…  I would love to see your morning combos, so please do post in the comments x
