This chick really just keeps on giving! Not a scrap has been wasted.
Then on a medium heat, I tipped a cup of dried orzo into the pan gave it a good stir.
With the stock I made from the bones I poured/spooned (it was pretty gelatinous) about two cupfuls into the pan and stirred it continuously so the orzo didn’t stick.
All in all, it took about 20-25 mins to get this on the plate and the kiddos demolished it. As did I. Ideal family fodder using leftovers and store cupboard ingredients 😘
